WHO WE ARE

Vision – A world where everyone has a safe and secure place to call home with resources available to better themselves.

Mission – To empower individuals and communities with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities to create a better tomorrow while offering a secure and safe place to call home.

Our Principles –

  1. Love others as we were loved.
  2. Promote hope, knowledge, and skill in becoming our best selves.
  3. Support sustainability & affordability in homeownership and communities.

Goal –

We seek to promote long-term, affordable home ownership by constructing affordable housing and preservation of existing housing resulting in overall neighborhood revitalization. We believe in growing one another and helping people help themselves by teaching skills, offering training, and instilling pride with partnership as sweat equity.

WE CARE. WE LEARN. WE SHARE.

We are so passionate about the people we serve and the communities that support us. Having founded a succeessful real estate company, we have a desire to share our real estate, development, and construction experience and knowledge with one another and our industry to improve community impacts through affordable housing, homeownership counseling, financial literacy, and homeless rehabilitation  throughout the Carolinas. At Johnson & Wilson, we do what’s right, not what’s easy, and not always what’s the most profitable. Led by purpose and passion, we created Hope for Homes. We stand for integrity and change, change for a good and better future, for our children and their children. We are innovative thinkers who strive to be the best, to do the best for our community. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of excellence in our business and in our community. Our hearts are full of love and knowledge, ready to change the world one life at a time.

Johnson & Wilson Real Estate Company donates 5% for each home sold each year to Hope for Homes as well as other non-profits and missions throughout the community.

WE DO GOOD BECAUSE WHEN WE WORK TOGETHER,

GOOD CAN BE DONE.

OUR FOUNDER’S WORDS

THE WORDS OF TIFFANY

I have a good life, but it wasn’t always so. I’ve made it to where I am now by failing and falling down…and getting up again. Repeatedly.
I am married to a wonderful man. I have two beautiful children who are the lights of my life. I have a home and businesses that put food on my family’s table and enable me to give back to my community. This is what’s important. My life is great now, but no, it wasn’t always so. I’ve encountered times where life was good, and then everything was taken away in an instant. I became homeless, encountered sexual abuse and violence over and over again. By the age of 14, I was in a gang; I’d used drugs since I was 13. I broke the law and was arrested more than once as a teenager. I made so many mistakes that sometimes it was hard to find the light. There were times I wondered if I ever would, if there was even hope. But I did. I dropped out of school in the 9th grade after being truant and in jail. As I sat in that jail cell, I knew that where I was in life was not where I wanted to be. Even though I was angry at the world, I knew I had to make a change. I got my GED. I understood then that I had not survived everything I’d been through only to do nothing with it.

By then I was 17 and pregnant and knew I needed an education. So I worked and went to school at night and learned how to care for my daughter. I got a college degree. And then I got another one. I learned how to innovate and recreate myself. I evolved, and I’m still evolving. I do my best to excel in everything I do, and sometimes…sometimes I still fail. I still fall sometimes. And yet I’m here because it’s important. Because you are important. Because using my voice and my personal success story is a big part of my journey. Now my baby girl is a young woman, and my son is growing into a fine young man. Many of the people I knew or was friends with during that dark time in my life are in jail, addicted, or dead. I want people to know that the course is not fixed. That every single day is a decision and a choice to move forward and learn. And that there is light and a reason to create something extraordinary. At Hope For Homes, we are doing what we can to walk alongside those in need, wherever they are, to give hope for a better future and show that it is possible. Anyone can change their life, their legacy, and the lives of others through the choices we make EVERY SINGLE DAY.
